First of all, my boyfriend is born on 21st February 1989, 0232 hours.

The second question is that I would like to know that if he opens his new shop during the Chinese Lunar 7th month, would it affect business negatively? If there is no choice but to open during that month, are there any options/ways to counter it, such as choosing a suitable date/time? And the third question is would this person, based on his chart, be successful in running his own business?

Hi Joey,

Contemplating buying a house that is lower than the main road but the back faces an open park. You couldn't really see the facade of the house from the main road coz its blocked by bushes and scrubs at the front perimeter (except for the drive way).

Its a 30 years house facing west, main door faces south, master bedroom headboard faces north. Its quite impossible for flood coz the park behind is really big (easily 10 acres). Light comes in from the back (east) and fills the living, dining and master bed room. The dandenongs mountain can be viewed from the back (living & dining), the kitchen is actually sitting at the east side of the house.

My wife and myself are both east kua. Been hearing about the adversity of buying a house lower than the road. Overall, the house feels very comfortable. Would appreciate your advice on this.

I am having my wedding ceremony at Miri,Sarawak next year. My close friend who is born in the year of horse is giving birth and my wedding ceremony will fall on the following month. Some old folks mentioned that a woman shouldnt attend any wedding during her course of pregnancy and can only do so AFTER 100 days counting from the day she gives birth, others said 49 days, which is true? Hi Joey, I read some of your Fengshui Books and I find that it is indeed very easy for beginners to pick up the basic knowledge as compared to some other Chinese books I had. However there are some questions here which always confuse me: 1. Let's say the west sector of my "Qian" house is the "Sheng Qi" sector which is good and it happens to be my study room which is good? However the annual star 9 flown into that sector this year which is a fire star, will it cause negative effect to the west sector since fire destroy metal? 2. My next question is actually related to the first. Do all Sector Element have impact on the flying star element? Which is more important to enhance or defend? Example like a good sector element clashes with a good flying star element. Or a bad sector element clashes with a good flying star element. Thanks in advance for your kind advise.

I think it's a really great thing to offer advice on a particular issue as I could not afford a full consultation. However, I'd happily pay a small fee for your advice or donate to your preferred charity.

My issue is that my son and his girlfriend are living with me. They are delightful and easy to get on with; they agree they should contribute financially, in terms of house work, and that they should work/go back to study. But little of this translates into action, they stay up till the wee small hours and get up late afternoon and don't achieve very much, they're very untidy (though both are musical and creative, as am I). I'd be very grateful for any advice on some kind of cure that might encourage them into action. The house is NE facing (N25*E), their bedroom is in the SW, S, SE corner, with the centre of the house just inside their door, the bed is in the S with the head of it to the SEE (I have no control over this space!).
