Dear Joey, I've found an affordable apartment that I quite like but the problem is that the kitchen is located at the SW. From some books that I read, it is a taboo to have our kitchen located at the SW & NW as it will affect the paternal and maternal luck. Is it true? Can you please share with me what we should look for when buying an apartment? Is it bad to have underground running water near the apartment? Thanks. Rgds, Grace Lau

I love watching your programme on TV very much. It is very clear and you have separated the culture effect from the feng shui truth. I thank you for that. However on the subject of afflictions, next year will be the year of dog and Tai sui will be in the direction of my front door which NW1. Am I going to have very bad luck and I have read somewhere that I need to buy certain images to appease it. I am a christian and would like to avoid displaying this image. Please advice how I can go round this. Thanks and regards

Dear Joey, I've become fascinated by BaZi since I read your book on the subject. I practise by using the BaZi charts of my friends. Recently I came across a chart with the 'output' element missing which represents 'children.' What does this mean? She is married and has a child. Will something bad happen to her only child? She has lost a child before. Thank you.

Hi Joey I've recently bought a house. The main door is facing north. However right above the main door, the 1st floor is a bathroom. The developer have put up wall plastering to cover the drainage piping. Is this a good feng shui and how to overcome if it is not. Is there any solution to address rather than renovate the house. Thanks

Dear Joey, I read in your article that this year(2005) the wealth star 8 is located in the south for a SW facing house. Can I put a small water feature inside the house in the south corner but it will be facing the main entrance door? Will it cause any harm when facing the door? Thank you very much for answering my question. Regards, julie 26-11-2005

Dear Joey, Thanks for presenting a more objective view towards understanding Feng Shui. I am in deperate need of your advise as I could not find the answer amongst your Q&A. I am about to decide whether to take an apartment that is just above the carpark. Is there anything negative about this? Secondly the buidling is slightly oval shape. Hope you can reply me very soon as time is of the essence. Has been looking for a place since the past 3 months. Thanks in advance and have a good day..........CC

Dear Joey Hello and greetings Exulted One! My name's Ernest. I have had many insights through your programs and am myself of new age and feng shui studies. The other day, a friend of mine had a very interesting question about her room with an airwell. According to one of her friend, if there's an airwell in the room of sleep it might be the case where one may lose one's life. I understand general feng shui and the nine corners mentioned in your programs, but this one truly blanked me... Well, what would be best is of course refer to the Master himself, therefore Joey, is it true of such phenom? or its just some hoax? I await to meet and hear from thy... Thank you. Best regards Ernest

Hello, Mr. Yap, Great website! I was born on 11th Feb 1977, I used your online Ba Zi calculator to calculte my BaZi, and curiously it shown that my celestial animal was fire snake. It is true that the year 1977 was a snake year, but I was born just a few days before the chinese new year ( I think that chinese new year was on 19th fFeb 1977) , and my mon has always told me that I was a dragon (dragon tail). And I just wonder if you could hlp me clarifying this, am I a snake or dragon, thank you.

I am interested to purchase an apartment in Goodyear Court 10. According to you Episod 11, the facing direction of the whole condo is depending on the facing direction of the reception of that condo. Kindly correct me if I misintepret. My dillemma now is that, Court 10 doesn't have a proper reception area. Only come in to a mini gurad house and straight heading for respective block. What should I do in such situation? What is the facing direction of the whole Court 10? The entrance to the guard house? What should the eight mansion chart of my apartment be based on? Thanks and appreciate you prompt assistance.

Dear Joey & Team, I truely enjoyed your program on 8TV and am trying to apply to my house the 8 Mansions and Flying Star Methods. However I confused as most houses are not perfectly square whereas we are supposed to look at the property chart in 9 even squares sectors. Are we supposed to plot out the nine equal sectors over the house plan? Or into 9 even squares over the house plan, meaning which certain sectors would be outdoors? Another thing is that rooms are of different sizes and shapes too, does that mean certain rooms would occupy more than one sector and certain sectors would accomodate more than one room? Thanks & regards!
