The seventh episode of ‘Walking the Dragons with Joey Yap’ proves to be an illuminating exploration into the tomb of Emperor Qian Long’s son, Xian Feng. Emperor Xian Feng’s tomb is also located in the Eastern Qing Tombs complex, and Joey and his co-hosts explore the hidden implications of its obvious Feng Shui features.

Joey explains that the Feng Shui of this particular tomb, even at first glance, is instantly recognizable as being bad. The most obvious features include a wide wind gap that only exacerbates the effects of the windy conditions that surround the tomb, and have the unfortunate effect of sending Sha Qi straight towards the tomb.

Joey further points out the factors that diminish the Feng Shui quotient of the tomb include a definite lack of mountains and no apparent Left and Right Embraces. The factors that make Emperor Xian Feng’s tomb a bad Meridian Spot are shown in detail – enabling viewers to avoid making the same mistakes!

In the long run, the location of Emperor Xian Feng’s tomb also turned out to have far-reaching effects for the Qing Dynasty. While he had already inherited a crumbling dynasty, during his time he saw the Qing Dynasty face threats from Western powers.

This episode leaves one speculating if history would have gone down another path had Emperor Xian Feng chosen a different spot with better Feng Shui as his final resting place. Definitely one that leaves you wondering “what if!”
