With these words and a brief reference to his earlier best seller on BaZi, Joey Yap greeted a sea of beaming faces at the MPH Bookstore of the 1-Utama Shopping Complex in Selangor.
Personally present to launch his second and latest BaZi book – The Destiny Code Revealed – Joey did not disappoint his fans and audience, many of whom started arriving as early as 4 p.m., although the launching event was scheduled to only kick-off at 5 p.m. Unsurprisingly, by the time the clock ticked five, the bookstore was literally brimming with attendees, as the crowd saw itself spilling beyond the doors – all hoping to either listen to Joey’s talk or to try to get his input on their own Destiny Charts. Regardless of whether they were ardent fans of Joey’s, or simply curious passers-by who decided to join in, they came in droves to learn more about what Joey had to share with them about BaZi.
Always pragmatic in his approach of disseminating knowledge, Joey warmed his audience up with a simple yet entertaining explanation on what BaZi is, and how the study of BaZi can equip people with crucial knowledge on their Destiny. He proceeded to share with listeners the key contents of The Destiny Code, before plunging into what they can expect to gain from The Destiny Code Revealed.
To demonstrate the power people can actually possess, simply by knowing their BaZi, Joey ventured to illustrate this concept further by narrating the case of the late Steve Irwin – AKA `The Crocodile Hunter’ – whose recent death stunned the world in September 2006. Irwin’s BaZi chart was subsequently shared and discussed with the audience in the course of his narration, and if there were any skeptics amongst them, Joey certainly did a good job of converting many an agnostic who was present on that day! The crowd was soon absorbed in Irwin’s chart, listening to Joey’s explanation of each event of the late `Crocodile Hunter’s’ life, as it slowly but surely unfolded before their eyes. The many facets of Irwin’s life, such as his Relationship with his family and his beloved animals, the way he made an adventure of a lifetime through his Career, and even the tragic Demise of this much beloved personality were analyzed and shared with the live audience that had gathered.
The day’s event came to a close with a Q&A session, where Joey patiently fielded questions from the floor. Many of these questions were posed by people who were curious or interested to gain a more in-depth knowledge on what Destiny holds in store for them - and Joey spent a fair bit of time chatting with them.
All’s well that ends well, and those who purchased their copy of The Destiny Code Revealed certainly left satisfied, as Joey made their day all the more memorable, by personally autographing each copy purchased during the event.
