On the afternoon of March 5th, 2005, Joey Yap was invited by HSBC to give a talk on Feng Shui for Property Investment. Held at Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the crowd was made up of Premier banking clients who were looking to gain an extra edge in their investments in real estate.

Joey Yap opened with his traditional explanation of classical Feng Shui and how it is different from the commercial version of Feng Shui that the attendees were exposed to. Immediately some members of the audience began to lean in as this was something that was a new concept to them.

With his usual wit and candour, Joey kept the audience's attention and many quickly took down the notes he was presenting as he proceeded into the section which taught them how to identify a good property and the good areas in and around the Klang Valley.

The presentation was followed by a Question & Answer session that gave Joey some time to spend with the attendees in clarifying any doubts that they may have and signing books for those who took the opportunity to buy his books.
