The Look of Love in Lion City

June 4, 2011

Love. Many people can find ways to succeed in various endeavors in life but when it comes to the subject of love and relationship, we are continued to be struck by confusion more than Cupid's arrow.

Joey Yap was in Singapore recently to bring a special two-hour workshop on Mian Xiang or Face Reading entitled The Look of Love. Held at Amara Singapore Hotel on a Saturday, this workshop's main focus was on the aspect of Relationship according to the Chinese art of Face Reading.

Joey began by explaining how Face Reading can help to deduce the personality of a person and the way he or she connects in a relationship. It doesn't help you to identify your soulmate, but it can determine whether a person has a good or bad affinity to you according to his or her facial features.

He emphasized the importance of finding connection in another in order to achieve a good relationship. This is where Face Reading can be used as a tool to measure if a person can connect well with you or otherwise as there are tell-tale signs on the face that reveals it all.

At the workshop, Joey urged the participants to practice Face Reading more, as it will help them to learn and remember better. The aim of this workshop was to bring awareness to people by identifying the existence of a problem first, and understand its cause before one can proceed to fix it from its source.

Joey went on to say that a relationship is about connecting two people. To evoke change in a relationship, it is easier to change yourself first before attempting to change the other. Only then, you can influence the other to change.

Relationship analysis using Face Reading can be done in two ways: Fixed Position Reading, which deciphers information based on one point or feature on the face, and Multiple Positions Reading, which is a combined reading based on several points. Joey also demonstrated some examples how readings can be done.

The participants had plenty of fun during the workshop, thanks to its interactive approach, as everyone had to practice face reading with each other in order to grasp the techniques faster. They were able to pick up basic Face Reading skills to differentiate between good and bad features for relationships and apply it almost instantly.
