Joey, I belong to the West Group of Kua number of 7 I am metal element . I would like to hang a Feng Shui Koi Fish painting at the hallway facing the main door entrance. However, the wall on which the painting is mounted happen to be in the West. (using the center of the whole flat as the anchor ). The door entrance is locate in the SW. I heard that it not good Feng Shui practice to have a painting of water hanging in the West Appreciate your advices and if this is true how can I alleviate the negative impact if the painting is to be hung there. Dear Tang,

You can hang any photo or painting you wish. Paintings do not emit Qi. they are are just drawings done by another person. So paintings of water or fishes do not 'send out' Water Qi. Just select a good date to do the nailing of the frames to the wall.
