If my NE has the water star "6" and similarly the annual, do I activate with water feature or using earth feature since the number '6' represents metal?
If this is a bedroom, can I activate using water feature?

Question:
How can I calculate the house GUa? HOw can I determine the period of the house? Is it period 7 or period 8? We have a house which is located facing SE & sitting at North West, is it good to my family & my husband? I am a Kua 8 & Husband Kua 6 & two sons Kua 1 & 9 accordingly.? -Louise
Answer:
Dear Louise,
You calculate the house gua by finding the sitting of the house. If your house faces SE then it sits NW. This is a west group direction so would suit your husband and yourself. Although your children are east group, all the west group locations in this house will be good for ANYONE who sleeps in those sectors regardless of whether they are east or west group. They then use their OWN personal directions to face with the bed and desks.

Dear Annie, the Feng Shui quality of a house is determined by the natural land formations, not so much as the facing direction. What you can do is to find out the 'House Gua' of your current house and use the good SECTORS. Your personal good DIRECTIONS are for fine-tuning once you are inside the good locations. Direct Sales - use the East sector in your current house more often. This year, the Star #1 there may be able to help you with meeting better potential clients. Or place a water feature there to stimulate the Qi. All the best. SN

Question:
The direction of my house facing is East and I have 2 main entrence doors, one is at the North-East sectorand the other is at East sector please let me know which is the best main entrence to use in year 2006. Thank you. -hooi lai peng

Dear Hooi,
It depends what you are wanting. The East is very good for status, recognition and nobility for this year. This is short term feng shui but if you use the entrance in the NE then it is much better for the next 20 years and for long term feng shui.
