Contribution to the Feng Shui Field
Joey Yap has played a significant role in creating improved awareness of the existence of Classical Feng Shui throughout the world. Not only was this achieved through his strong network of trained instructors that he has created through his global learning institutions, he was also responsible for bringing together the world’s better-known Feng Shui masters at the first ever World Classical Feng Shui Conference in Germany in March 2002. This Conference was well participated by many established and would-be practitioners of Feng Shui, with 16 renowned speakers from all over the world providing a captivating learning experience and an exchange of knowledge in Classical Feng Shui. The Conference has not only paved the way for a healthy development of Classical Feng Shui in the future but has also provided a platform for the cohesive existence of different schools of Feng Shui and the removal of any barriers of Feng Shui learning.
Joey Yap also publishes a monthly newsletter: The Mastery Journal.
The Mastery Journal newsletter is a free, monthly E-zine that delivers bite-sized training information for students and enthusiasts of Classical Feng Shui and Astrology Studies. This newsletter aims to provide simple education to the masses with hopes of increasing authentic Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology literacy for the layman. Each newsletter will include a short message from Joey Yap, along with updates for members and a variety of articles that touch on one or more topics.
These topics include Feng Shui, BaZi (Eight Characters/Four Pillars of Destiny), Zi Wei Dou Shu (Purple Star Astrology), Yi-Jing, Mian Xiang (Face Reading) and other forms of Chinese Metaphysical Studies.
There are two editions sent out per month – the Basic and Professional Editions. The Basic Edition is designed to cater for the general public, enthusiasts of Chinese Metaphysical science who have little or no knowledge on the subjects or the technical jargon but are interested in finding out more. Joey Yap hope’s that this E-zine will serve the general public’s interest better and will include Q&As, simple to-the-point type articles, quickly applicable guides, updates, the monthly flying stars as well as the auspicious dates for the month ahead.

The Professional Edition is designed for the technically savvy practitioners of Chinese Metaphysics who have attended professional classes on the subject and/or practices it as a full time career. This edition is intended to cater primarily for Joey Yap’s own students in Xuan Kong, BaZi and Feng Shui. Subscription to the Professional Edition presently, is by invitation only.
